Cookies & privacy
Plain-English notes on what this website stores, why, and how to change your mind.

Cookies we use
We keep things light. The only thing we store on your device by default is your cookie choice, so we don’t ask you again on every page. Anything optional stays off until you say yes.
| Type | What it does | Default |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Remembers your cookie choice (nrc-consent, kept in your browser until you clear it). |
Always on |
| Analytics | Would help us understand which pages are useful. We don’t use any analytics cookies at the moment. | Off |
| Embedded content | Videos, posts and maps from YouTube, Facebook, Instagram or Google. These services may set their own cookies, so we only load them if you agree. | Off |
Visitor statistics
We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views. It doesn’t use cookies or store anything on your device, and it doesn’t track you across other websites.
Fonts and videos
Our fonts are served from this website, so loading a page doesn’t contact Google. Stretching videos on the Videos page are streamed through our own site.
If you contact us
When you use the contact form, we receive your name, email address and message through Web3Forms, which delivers it to our inbox. Web3Forms checks messages for spam and keeps a copy for up to three years. We only use your details to reply to you, and we don’t add you to any mailing list or share them with anyone else.
Links to other sites
Links to Facebook, Google Maps, parkrun and race organisers take you to their own websites, which have their own cookie and privacy policies.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask to see the information we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted — just email us at the address below. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
Questions
